With the holidays already here, please don't forget to save the date for the Family Christmas Banquet honoring our new members for the year! There will be amazing music, celebration, and thanksgiving for our newest church members. Dallas First will be providing a ham but please bring a side dish to share and show our newest members what fantastic cooks that have been welcomed into. New members, please just bring yourselves, your families, and your loved ones and let us celebrate you and this wonderful time of the year!

L.A.F.F.

Ladies are you ready to kick off your heels and L.A.F.F. a little? Women of all ages are invited to join us for a fun night out with the GIRLS! We laugh, talk, eat, pray and share in a devotional. Every month is something new and exciting! Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 12th at 7:00 p.m. We're making care packages for S.O.S. (serving our soldiers). Women's Time-Out Retreat

Women's Time-out Retreat
Ladies, this year for the time-out retreat we're heading to Camp Glisson in beautiful Dahlonega, GA. Come join us September 14-16 to learn more about "The Holiest Place on Earth". Our guest speaker this year is Nancy Cox. Nancy is one of the beautiful faces we look at every Sunday in the choir. She comes to us with an amazing background in leadership positions in the Methodist church.
Pick up a registration form today in the church office or church library (Welcome Room). Deadline for registration is August 5th. Make plans now to join us!!!! We're leaving the church at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 14th. Bring a little extra cash for dinner at the Smith House Friday night. We'll return to the church on Sunday at noon. The cost is $95.00 per person which includes your lodging and four meals. We do have a few scholarships available compliments of UMW. Summer Pool Party

Summer Pool Party
Surf's up at Sara Babb Park poolside, June 23rd from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attended. Bring your chairs, your towels and yourselves!!!

We'll supply the rest! It's a family affair for all ages!

Enjoy playing in the pool, tennis courts or lounging in the shade!

Whatever your preference there is something for everyone!

Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. and the pool opens at 7:00 p.m.

Lifeguards will be on duty throughout the entire event! The FOOD and FUN is on us!

Please call the church office to sign up or if you forget, come join us Saturday night ANYWAY!!! You'll be glad you did!!!

Rafting Trip!

Looking for a fun time to cool off? Come Rafting!! Spend an Outrageous time with your family and friends as Dallas First rafts down the Ocoee. The cost is just $50.00 per person and includes dinner and an adventurous guided tour down the Ocoee.

The river rafting is for ages 12 and up. But the little ones are going to have tons of fun as well. Anyone 4-11 will be playing family fun games such as the water balloon toss, and squirt guns. With an overlook view, they can watch as their parents act like kids again. If you have a child under the age of 4, please plan on one guardian staying to play family games.

If you are interested, please sign up at the church office this weekend. We need an interested count so that we know how many spaces and rafts to reserve.

Time: 9:30 A.M. at the church
Bring: Change of clothes, swimsuit or shorts (no cotton!), tennis shoes or river sandals, sunscreen, sunglasses with a retainer cord, towel, dry shoes, and bagged lunch.
